Regional Communications Manager – Public Relations (Riyadh)

About the role

The Regional Communications Manager will support the development and execution of both external and internal communications for S&P Global Energy across the EMEA region. This position focuses on enhancing visibility, building media relationships, and ensuring consistent strategic messaging. The role is highly collaborative, working with senior leaders, subject‑matter experts and the global communications team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the communications strategy for S&P Global Energy within the EMEA region, aligned with divisional and corporate objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with top‑tier media outlets, journalists and industry influencers to secure impactful coverage.
• Create and distribute external content such as press releases, statements, media advisories, pitch materials and bylined articles.
• Produce internal communications, including executive messages and thought‑leadership content, and manage related events.
• Coordinate media interviews, press briefings and events to promote divisional initiatives.
• Monitor regional media coverage and internal metrics to measure effectiveness and align with business goals.
• Manage media relations during crises, ensuring effective responses and mitigating reputational risk.

Required profile

• Saudi national (the role is exclusively for Saudi nationals).
• Proven experience in external and internal communications, media relations and crisis communications.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders, subject‑matter experts and global communications teams.
