Reliability Engineer – Yanbu, Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Reliability Engineer will support the goal of keeping stationary assets fit for purpose throughout their projected life in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Superintendent of Reliability & Engineering, the role focuses on technical support, equipment integrity strategy, and the implementation of reliability best practices across all ATTM plants.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor asset performance, predict equipment failures and develop proactive equipment strategies.
• Lead and facilitate Risk Based Inspection (RBI) analysis for all plant equipment.
• Ensure implementation and effectiveness of RBI recommendations and update analyses to meet reliability KPIs.
• Conduct investigations and failure analysis, providing recommendations to maintain optimum equipment integrity.
• Coordinate technical studies with inspection and operations teams for unexpected equipment breakdowns.
• Develop, review, and update fixed‑equipment integrity strategies such as RBI and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
• Participate in workshops and committees including RCA, RCM, PHA, and MOC.
• Maintain quality procedures for health audits of stationary equipment and pipelines.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in reliability engineering within the metal or specialty chemicals sector.
• Proven ability to lead RBI and RCM activities and to drive continuous improvement of reliability culture.
• Strong analytical skills for failure analysis, corrosion loop studies, and equipment performance monitoring.
