Remote Head of Biology & Chemistry – High School (US Curriculum)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Biology & Chemistry to design and lead a new American‑curriculum high school program in Saudi Arabia. This remote position will shape the curriculum, train fellow teachers, and deliver one online course section, all within a tech‑enabled hybrid learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Design Biology and Chemistry units, lesson plans, assessments, and homework for Grades 9‑10 launching Fall 2026.
• Lead, train, and support other science teachers on the hybrid platform.
• Teach one online section of Biology or Chemistry, aligning delivery with the curriculum.
• Continuously refine lessons using EdTech and digital tools to boost engagement and differentiation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve curriculum and learning journeys.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing American high‑school science curricula aligned with CCSS and NGSS.
• Proven ability to teach English‑language learners.
• Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Availability to work full‑time Sunday‑Thursday (GMT+3) with some flexibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EdTech platforms and digital teaching tools.
• Experience using AI‑enhanced educational resources.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and professional video setup for remote instruction.
