Remote PHP Developer (Laravel) Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our customer’s team on a remote contract basis. You will work on an innovative AI agent project, using your expertise in PHP and Laravel to build and maintain back‑end systems that support AI model training.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with AI model trainers to structure data and workflows for AI training processes.
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, high‑performance back‑end systems.
• Translate requirements into efficient, reliable code and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex back‑end issues during AI model training cycles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote work environment.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while contributing to team goals.
• Experience with data‑driven or AI‑related projects is a strong plus.
