Repair Technician Apprentice (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Join NOV as a Repair Technician Apprentice, supporting multi‑disciplinary maintenance in the oil and gas sector. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems while you develop core competencies under a structured Individual Development Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned work‑related tasks and comply with NOV and HSE policies.
• Complete milestones defined by the Individual Development Plan within the agreed timeframe.
• Finish all technical and non‑technical competency units and pass required DSL exams.
• Prepare and present quarterly development reports covering OJT, training, and competency assignments.
• Submit daily reports on ongoing development, OJT training, or competency activities.
• Learn and apply knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic disciplines.
• Contribute to ARM safety culture initiatives and report any safety hazards.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or recent Technical College graduate (within 3 years).
• Fluent in English and Arabic with good communication skills.
• No prior experience required; suitable for candidates with up to one month of experience.
• Motivated to self‑drive personal development and training.
