Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for guests seeking to book their stay at Raffles Hotel Jeddah. You will ensure a seamless booking experience, provide accurate information about our luxury accommodations, and contribute to revenue growth through effective up‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms with accuracy and speed.
• Provide detailed information on rates, packages, special offers, and local attractions.
• Utilise up‑selling techniques to maximize room revenue and promote hotel services.
• Enter and maintain reservation data in the property management system (PMS) with high precision.
• Follow up on guest requests and inquiries within 24 hours.
• Assist with group bookings and manage room allotments as directed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest journey from reservation to check‑out.
• Monitor hotel availability and update to optimise occupancy.
• Prepare daily reports on reservations, cancellations, and modifications.

Required profile

• Vocational certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in reservations or front‑office operations (or 6 months in a similar role).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with property management systems, preferably OPERA.
