Resort Manager on Duty – Guest Relations

About the role

The Resort Manager on Duty will lead guest and owner relations at the Ritz‑Carlton resort on Ummahat Islands, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. This full‑time position reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with all resort departments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily guest feedback, identify trends, and communicate insights to resort leadership.
• Act as the Service Champion, driving initiatives that enhance the overall guest experience.
• Manage guest relations, addressing and resolving issues while guests are on‑site.
• Support the GM and Director of Operations in handling correspondence from owners, surveys, and the Customer Relations team.
• Conduct daily inspections of common areas, amenities, outlets, and guest units, documenting conditions for leadership.
• Coordinate Manager on Duty schedules and ensure all departments are aligned with guest expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related hospitality role.
• Alternatively, a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage cross‑functional teams.
