Restaurant Captain

About the role

The Restaurant Captain will lead the service team in delivering courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service at a Kempinski outlet in Al Khobar. This role ensures guest satisfaction, promotes upselling, and upholds the hotel’s standards and values.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Restaurant Supervisor/Assistant Manager and oversee Waiters, Waitresses, Hosts, and Hostesses.
• Maintain punctuality, proper uniform, grooming, and personal hygiene in line with hotel policy.
• Provide courteous, professional service and handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, keep the work area clean and organized, and monitor supplies to reduce waste.
• Operate the POS system at the assigned responsibility level.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire safety, hygiene, health, and overall regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and departmental inventories.
• Lead the service team, act as a role model, and ensure flawless service standards.
