Restaurant Host (Only Saudis)

About the role

The Restaurant Host will be the first point of contact for guests at the hotel’s restaurant in Al Khobar. This role focuses on delivering courteous, professional, and efficient service while supporting sales and guest satisfaction in line with Kempinski’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager and adhere to punctuality and dress‑code standards.
• Welcome guests, manage reservations, and maintain an up‑to‑date reservation book.
• Operate the POS system for order entry and billing as trained.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including inventory checks and equipment monitoring.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly, escalating to supervisors when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and surrounding spaces.
• Support upselling of food and beverage items and suggest alternatives.
• Coordinate with Guest Services, Concierge, and other F&B outlets for seamless service.

Required profile

• Saudi national (as specified in the posting).
• Excellent personal appearance, grooming, and adherence to hotel uniform standards.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional attitude.
• Good knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
