Retail Sales Trainer

About the role

The Retail Sales Trainer will design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Damas Jewellery sales staff, ensuring they have deep product knowledge, effective sales techniques and strong customer engagement skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training programs covering jewellery product knowledge, sales techniques, brand values and customer engagement.
• Conduct classroom, online and in‑store training sessions, as well as on‑the‑job coaching.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs, knowledge gaps and improvement areas.
• Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics and new product offerings to keep training content relevant.
• Create training materials such as presentations, manuals and interactive exercises.
• Implement assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness and identify further development needs.
• Provide individual coaching, feedback and role‑playing exercises to reinforce learning.
• Work with product managers, marketing and other stakeholders to align training with product strategies.
• Monitor post‑training performance, maintain training records and support onboarding of new sales team members.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with a specialization in HR or Training.
• Additional certification in Training & Development or CRM is an advantage; HRD/GIA certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in large organisations, including at least 1–2 years in the retail sector.
• Excellent command of English, strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Creative thinking, multitasking capabilities and the ability to engage learners at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating training materials.
• Experience with video editing tools for interactive content.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (advantageous).
