Risk Manager – Project Management Consultancy

About the role

The Risk Manager will lead the risk management function for BDC projects supported by Egis, ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, treated and monitored throughout the project lifecycle. This role works closely with project teams, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to embed risk‑aware decision making into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain a risk management framework aligned with BDC policies and governance requirements.
• Identify, assess, own, treat, monitor and escalate risks that could impact strategic, commercial, financial, operational and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate risk activities across multiple projects, workstreams, consultants and contractors.
• Integrate risk information with cost, schedule, procurement, contracts, design, change and quality controls.
• Drive mitigation actions, challenge delayed responses and ensure emerging risks are promptly addressed.
• Maintain clear visibility of risk exposure and ensure significant risks are escalated to senior management.

Required profile

• Proactive, hands‑on professional with experience in risk management within engineering, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Excellent communication skills to engage risk owners and senior managers.
• Ability to translate risk insights into actionable mitigation plans.
