Risk & Resilience Associate

About the role

ASMO, a joint venture between DHL and Aramco, is seeking a Risk & Resilience Associate to develop and manage procurement risk management tools and processes. The role supports the company’s mission to deliver integrated procurement and supply‑chain services across the industrial, energy, chemical and petrochemical sectors in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain procurement risk management templates, methods and processes.
• Regularly review and update risk policies to align with best practices.
• Create metrics and checklists to assess vendor risk.
• Lead vendor risk assessments, identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assign monitoring responsibilities.
• Provide risk‑related expertise during vendor decision‑making.
• Monitor contract performance, report breaches or delays, and evaluate penalties.
• Present high‑risk vendor cases to senior management and propose corrective actions.
• Stay current on vendor risk management developments and incorporate new standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience (entry‑level).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business functions.
