Road Safety Engineer – Multiple Locations in Saudi Arabia

About the role

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is looking for qualified Road Safety Engineers to support Ministry of Transport & Logistics Services (MOTLS) projects across Jazan, Riyadh, Makkah and the Eastern Region. The role involves assessing road safety, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with Saudi MOT standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct road safety inspections and audits following MOTLS guidelines.
• Evaluate existing road networks, identify hazards and propose corrective measures.
• Review design drawings, traffic control plans and safety features for compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments and improvement proposals.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and MOT representatives.
• Support implementation of safety programs, signage and traffic‑management plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in road safety, traffic engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi MOT standards, road safety manuals and national regulations.
• Immediate availability (ASAP).

Required skills

• Road safety assessment and auditing.
• Familiarity with MOTLS guidelines and Saudi road safety standards.
• Experience with black‑spot analysis and crash investigation.
• Knowledge of international safety standards such as AASHTO, FHWA and PIARC.
