Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas and pantries in accordance with hotel standards. This role ensures a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests while supporting the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming carpets.
• Inspect rooms for proper condition and report any maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, floor public areas, equipment and pantries.
• Provide turn‑down service and attend to late‑check‑out or special guest requests.
• Answer guest questions courteously and refer requests to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Record relevant information on assignment sheets and report unusual situations at shift end.
• Handle lost and found items in coordination with the Order Taker.

Required profile

• Ability to follow hotel cleaning standards and procedures.
• Attention to detail for inspecting room condition and reporting repairs.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Reliability and willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings.
