Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Room Attendant will ensure guest rooms and suites at Raffles The Red Sea meet the brand’s luxury standards of cleanliness, presentation, and personalized service. This role supports the overall guest experience by maintaining immaculate environments and responding to guest preferences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, service and maintain guest rooms and suites according to Raffles standards.
• Perform turndown service with precision and attention to detail.
• Replenish amenities, linens and supplies as required.
• Identify and report any defects, damages or maintenance issues.
• Greet guests courteously when encountered and communicate special requests to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Support service recovery actions and ensure swift corrective measures.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, storage areas and pantries in a clean, organized state.
• Participate in deep‑cleaning programmes and special projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury or five‑star hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic training in housekeeping operations and cleaning techniques is an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and courteous guest interaction.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Physical stamina to perform duties throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard housekeeping cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with proper chemical handling and equipment usage.
