Room Care Technician – Engineering (Makkah)

About the role

The Room Care Technician – Engineering ensures guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of comfort, safety and functionality at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in the Holy City of Makkah. You will work directly with guests and hotel teams to quickly resolve any room‑related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair guestroom problems, including electrical, furniture and minor repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct room inspections.
• Handle guest and team inquiries professionally and resolve complaints promptly.
• Complete work orders, document all tasks performed and maintain accurate tool and parts logs.
• Report observed damages to supervisors and recommend appropriate solutions.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5‑star hotel.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification or trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude, basic computer literacy and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Fluent in English, able to work independently and adapt to a diverse environment.
