Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and mechanical integrity of all rotating assets. You will develop inspection procedures, maintenance strategies, and drive corrective actions to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement mechanical integrity initiatives for rotating equipment.
• Develop and maintain inspection and monitoring programmes for each asset.
• Perform failure, root‑cause and vibration analyses to identify and address equipment issues.
• Lead turnaround inspections and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve reliability.
• Analyse predictive‑maintenance data and initiate corrective work.
• Prepare and review KPI reports and Management of Change documentation.
• Calculate remaining life of equipment and propose cost‑effective repair or replacement solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in rotating equipment reliability or a similar field.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of environmental, health, safety and quality standards.
