Rust Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Rust Developer to join a leading software development client on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑performance, memory‑safe systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Rust‑based applications and libraries focused on performance and reliability.
• Write clean, idiomatic Rust code following best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate Rust components into existing architectures.
• Optimize algorithms and data structures for low‑latency, high‑throughput workloads.
• Perform code reviews and influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency with the Rust language and its ecosystem (Cargo, Clippy, Rustfmt).
• Experience in systems programming, including memory management and concurrency.
• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools for Rust.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
