Safety Engineer – Saudi National

About the role

Parsons is seeking a qualified Safety Engineer to support project and program teams in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the SH&E manager and collaborating with project managers, you will ensure that all site activities meet Parsons' risk management standards and comply with regulatory and client safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise project and program managers on compliance with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP).
• Conduct audits and inspections of worksites, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit detailed audit, inspection, and incident investigation reports.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analyses, and develop lessons learned.
• Analyze trends from audit findings and incident data, producing regular reports for management.
• Represent Parsons during external regulatory inspections and loss‑control reviews.
• Support risk assessments, new‑hire orientation, and SH&E training activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Relevant experience in safety engineering within construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian safety regulations and international SH&E standards.
