Sales Application Engineer

About the role

The Application Engineer provides technical support and engineering solutions for power generation projects across the Eastern Province and Saudi Arabia. Acting as the technical bridge between sales, engineering and project teams, the role ensures customers receive compliant, cost‑effective generator set solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable generator sets, power generation and electrical engineering solutions.
• Select and size generator sets and associated equipment based on project specifications, standards and operational needs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender documentation.
• Review project specifications, electrical drawings and technical documents for compliance.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support and conduct product presentations, demonstrations and training.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams to ensure successful execution.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical information and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Application Engineer, Sales/Application Engineer or Technical Support Engineer in the power generation industry.
• Strong understanding of diesel and gas generator sets, electrical power generation systems, alternators, control systems, synchronization and ATS panels.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
