Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting the full range of the company’s products to assigned customers, gathering market intelligence, and ensuring compliance with merchandising standards. This role involves regular interaction with customers, handling orders, and supporting the sales team with accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the widest range of company products to assigned customers.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities within the territory.
• Implement planograms correctly in retail locations.
• Process special order requests as needed.
• Collect invoices according to the company’s aging policy.
• Prepare documentation for call cycles and business reviews before market visits.
• Identify and report new customer opportunities to the team leader.
• Handle customer complaints and forward them to the sales team leader.
• Present customer orders and daily collections to the team leader or accountant.
• Issue return forms for defective products and obtain approval before processing returns.
• Report unresolved problems or objections to the team leader.
• Conduct quarterly customer account reconciliations and obtain customer signatures.
• Perform inventory checks during each visit, covering warehouses and shelves.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar sales or field‑service role.
