Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving hotel revenue targets by managing an assigned account base and prospecting new clients in the Saudi Arabian market. The role focuses on revenue maximisation, key‑account management and expanding market share against the competitor set.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts within an assigned geographic area, ensuring revenue maximisation and personal target achievement.
• Prospect and acquire new accounts across all market segments, including European markets.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on tentative bookings.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the competitor set and all hotel services.
• Negotiate and execute SMART contracts to optimise yields during rate negotiations.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales blitzes, workshops and other industry events.
• Assist the Director of Sales in defining and executing the annual sales action plan and budget forecasts.
• Document all sales activities in the SFA system and keep the OPERA contact database up to date.
• Cross‑sell other Kempinski Hotels and participate in the Duty Manager rota.
• Adhere to corporate SOPs, health & safety regulations and the employee handbook.

Required profile

• Experience in key‑account management and revenue‑driven sales within the hospitality sector.
• Proven ability to prospect new accounts and expand market share.
• Familiarity with the competitor landscape and hotel service offerings.
• Capability to negotiate contracts and implement SMART contracting strategies.
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and client visits.
