Sales Manager – Local

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead sales activities and maximise business opportunities within a defined local market. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, generating creative solutions for guests, and driving revenue growth for our hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive coverage of the assigned portfolio, engaging with managers and executives to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales action plans to exceed set objectives.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure both transient and group business.
• Generate and nurture sales leads for the Rotana brand across the designated area.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback through direct outreach, telephone, and mail.
• Maintain major account files and support senior staff in account management processes.
• Adhere to selling strategies during negotiations and maximise upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in sales or related field with at least two years of post‑graduate experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Strong presentation abilities and sophisticated written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Guest‑focused, proactive attitude with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and flexibility in dealing with clients and colleagues.
