Sales Manager – Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead the sales function at Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a luxury hotel located minutes from Masjid Al Haram in the Holy City of Makkah. The role will drive the sales strategy, identify new business opportunities and ensure the hotel meets its annual revenue and occupancy targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve assigned KPIs and annual sales objectives.
• Collaborate with off‑property sales channels to coordinate efforts and avoid redundancy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units to stay informed about offers, promotions, market trends and competitor activity.
• Monitor revenue budgets, forecast room inventory and occupancy, and adjust plans to meet or exceed targets.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts and target reports for senior management on a quarterly basis.
• Identify new business opportunities, convert inquiries and optimise existing accounts to maximise room night sales and occupancy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Marketing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of hospitality sales and marketing concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate to advanced level).
