Sales Supervisor

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will lead a team of salesmen and oversee sales and distribution activities across assigned routes in Hail. The role ensures that sales targets, replenishment standards and key performance indicators are met while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Area Sales Manager/Branch Manager in setting and monitoring sales targets for the team.
• Collect and share market and competitor information to support strategic decisions.
• Train sales staff and ensure execution of the company’s replenishment program to keep products fresh and available.
• Manage agreements with modern trade and wholesale customers, maintaining strong business relationships.
• Plan daily routes with salesmen to maximise productivity and coverage.
• Monitor product shelf‑life at points of sale, enforce rotation and minimise waste.
• Identify and develop new customers within the assigned routes.
• Apply the approved credit policy, oversee collections and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain company assets, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
• Recruit, train and manage the sales team in line with HR policies.
• Enter accurate data, prepare reports and maintain administration for the area.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a sales force in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong understanding of sales and distribution policies and KPIs.
• Ability to analyse market trends and competitor activity.
• Experience with credit and collection processes.
• Good organisational skills for route planning and asset management.
• Capability to train, motivate and evaluate staff performance.
