Sales Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Supervisor to lead a team of salesmen and oversee sales and distribution activities across assigned routes. The role ensures that sales targets, replenishment standards and key performance indicators are met while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Area Sales Manager/Branch Manager in setting sales targets and motivate the team to achieve them within cost and operational parameters.
• Gather market and competitor information, share insights with management and recommend actions.
• Train sales staff and ensure execution of the company’s Replenishment program to keep products fresh and available.
• Manage agreements with modern trade and wholesale customers, maintaining good business relations.
• Optimize daily journey planning for salesmen to maximize route efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor product shelf‑life at points of sale, enforce rotation, and control wastage.
• Identify and develop new customers in assigned routes to increase sales.
• Apply the approved credit policy, oversee credit and collection processes for timely payments.
• Maintain company assets, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
• Ensure accurate data entry, administration and reporting in the MSFA system.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a sales team and managing sales‑distribution activities.
• Good knowledge of sales targets, replenishment processes and credit management.
• Ability to train new recruits and provide ongoing coaching to staff.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret market data and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with HR policies for recruitment and people management.

Required skills

• MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation) – data entry, reporting and daily endorsements.
