Sales Supervisor – Manage Sales Team & Distribution

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will lead a team of salesmen, overseeing sales and distribution activities across assigned routes in Dammam. The role ensures that sales targets, replenishment standards, and key performance indicators are met while maintaining strong relationships with modern trade and wholesale customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Area Sales Manager/Branch Manager in setting targets and motivating the sales team to achieve agreed sales goals.
• Gather market and competitor insights and share them with management for strategic action.
• Ensure sales staff are trained and execute the company’s replenishment program, keeping shelves stocked with fresh products.
• Manage agreements with modern trade and wholesale customers, maintaining good business relations.
• Plan daily routes for salesmen to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor product shelf‑life at points of sale, controlling rotation and waste.
• Identify and develop new customers within the assigned routes.
• Apply the company’s credit policy, overseeing credit and collection processes.
• Maintain company assets, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
• Recruit, train, and manage the sales team in line with HR policies.
• Accurately enter data, administer records, and produce timely reports for the area.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a sales team in a distribution or FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of sales routes, replenishment processes, and credit management.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Organizational skills to plan routes, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies.
