SAP System Administrator – Manager/Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator – Manager/Advisor to lead and support our IT infrastructure in Riyadh. The role combines hands‑on systems administration with technical leadership, strategic guidance, and team mentorship across enterprise, cloud, and virtualization environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and ensure overall infrastructure reliability.
• Implement and maintain IT security, patch management, firewalls and vulnerability management.
• Manage backup solutions and disaster‑recovery strategies to guarantee business continuity.
• Automate administrative and infrastructure processes using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Lead infrastructure projects, troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical direction.
• Mentor junior IT team members and maintain accurate system documentation and performance reports.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to support infrastructure improvements and technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 8+ years of systems administration experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or advisory capacity.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS, VCP, RHCE, MCSE or ITIL are a plus.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Linux administration.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Networking, cybersecurity, backup and disaster‑recovery concepts.
• PowerShell, Bash, Python scripting.
