Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations at InterContinental The Red Sea Resort. This role ensures the safety of guests, colleagues, visitors, and resort assets while maintaining IHG security standards and emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the Security Department.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review security policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular security inspections, identify risks, hazards, and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and manage CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures, including fire, medical emergencies, evacuations, and other incidents.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, theft, and loss, ensuring accurate documentation and follow‑up.
• Prepare and maintain detailed security reports, incident reports, daily logs, and investigation records.
• Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and external agencies as required.
• Manage access control for colleagues, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
• Oversee security of guest areas, back‑of‑house areas, staff facilities, parking, and other resort premises.
• Conduct regular patrols and ensure appropriate security coverage across the property.
• Lead security briefings, training sessions, drills, and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Monitor colleague performance, attendance, grooming, conduct, and compliance with resort standards.
• Support investigations related to colleague misconduct, property loss, or security procedure violations.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive security information and investigation records.

Required profile

• At least 60 months (5 years) of relevant security experience.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a security team.
• Experience coordinating with local authorities and emergency services.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality of security information.
