Security Operations Center Analyst

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Security Operations Center Analyst to join its Riyadh team. You will work in a fast‑paced SOC environment, monitoring security alerts and responding to incidents while collaborating with senior analysts and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor multiple security technologies and analyze alerts for false‑positive or true‑positive outcomes.
• Investigate malicious activity following established procedures and provide Tier 1 incident response.
• Escalate complex events to senior analysts on a 24/7 rotating schedule.
• Create, track, and close tickets related to security events.
• Maintain professional relationships with fellow analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in information security, preferably in a SOC environment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model and experience with packet capture and analysis.
• Ability to work 24/7 shift rotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic speaking is mandatory.
• Saudi nationals are preferred in line with Vision 2030.

Required skills

• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model.
• Packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) and Pcap analysis.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies.
• SIEM platforms: Splunk and ArcSight.
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
• Microsoft Office suite.
