Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable function. You will ensure accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices, maintain strong internal controls, and support month‑end closing activities while managing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations and guarantee on‑time invoice processing.
• Manage three‑way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and supplier invoices.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with Procurement, Warehouse and other departments.
• Lead month‑end closing tasks, including accruals, reconciliations and clearing outstanding items.
• Prepare vendor payment plans, monitor aging, and identify overdue‑balance risks.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and handle foreign‑currency transaction accounting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Guide junior team members and ensure continuity during absences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, three‑way matching, accruals, reconciliations and VAT regulations.
• Proven ability to work with ERP systems and financial software.
