Senior Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Senior Accountant to lead end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and support the finance team in delivering accurate financial information.
Key responsibilities
- Own revenue recognition and invoicing, reconciling billing, contracts and GL postings.
- Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, pre‑payments and variance analysis.
- Manage VAT computation, filing and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance.
- Coordinate external audits, prepare schedules and resolve audit queries.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash movements and assist treasury reporting.
- Support monthly payroll processing and related reconciliations.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on new transactions and policy updates.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports and analysis for management.
Required profile
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably with audit exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s or ACCA/CPA/CMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations (ZATCA).
- Hands‑on experience with full accounting cycle and financial statement preparation.
