Senior Accountant – Jeddah

About the role
The Senior Accountant will join Chalhoub Group’s finance team in Jeddah, supporting multiple business units and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with the Group’s accounting policies and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile employee and business‑unit accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Plan, manage and execute year‑end closing activities for assigned records.
- Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to business units.
- Verify and sign‑off monthly bank reconciliations, preventing fraud and discrepancies.
- Monitor and resolve escalated accounting issues raised by junior team members.
- Maintain timely payments and ensure no long‑outstanding reconciliation items.
Required profile
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably at a senior level.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to accounting standards.
- Experience supervising or supporting junior accounting staff.
Required skills
- Bank reconciliation.
- Year‑end closing procedures.
- Technical accounting support and interpretation.
