Senior Accountant – Multi‑Brand Food & Beverage

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site senior accountant position is based in Riyadh and reports directly to the CEO. You will own the financial numbers across a growing group of food and beverage brands, close current‑year accounting gaps, and establish a reliable monthly reporting rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and own monthly P&L for each brand, closed within 10 days of month‑end.
• Deliver weekly cash position reports to the CEO.
• Maintain per‑brand dashboards covering revenue, COGS, labor %, food cost %, and EBITDA.
• Manage accounts receivable aging and payables schedule.
• Build and maintain the fixed‑asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Book end‑of‑service provisions and payroll accounting accurately.
• Reconcile inventory with operations and enforce food‑cost discipline.
• Handle supplier balance reconciliation and dispute resolution.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA, VAT, GOSI, and Mudad deadlines.
• Supervise and develop the general accountant.

Required profile

• Available to start within 30 days; candidates already in Saudi Arabia with a transferable iqama preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• 2–3 years in a fast‑growing F&B, café, or lifestyle brand that expanded from 1–2 locations to 5+.
• Hands‑on experience preparing monthly P&Ls per entity or location.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Required skills

• Practical experience with at least one accounting system: Qoyod, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP Business One, or similar.
• Experience with Foodics or comparable F&B POS systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ZATCA, VAT, GOSI, and Mudad compliance.
• SOCPA membership; CMA or CPA in progress is a plus.
