Senior Backend Developer – Fan-ID Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, build and maintain the backend services of the Fan-ID platform. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable and high‑performance systems that support real‑time operations and high‑traffic live‑event scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain micro‑service based backend services for the Fan-ID platform.
• Implement API‑first services and Backend‑for‑Frontend (BFF) layers to support React‑based web applications and server‑side rendering.
• Integrate with headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore, as well as ticketing, CRM, IAM and payment systems.
• Ensure backend services are robust, secure and able to handle peak traffic during live events.
• Define architecture standards, modular code structures and automated testing strategies.
• Integrate automated tests (Postman/Newman, Playwright/Cypress, Jest, k6/JMeter) into CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer in production environments.
• Strong background with modern backend technologies such as .NET Core, Node.js or Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure native services and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with micro‑services, BFF patterns and integration‑heavy platforms.
• Ability to work onsite in Riyadh and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
