Senior Cloud Engineer – OpenShift

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer specialized in Red Hat OpenShift to manage, optimize, and support enterprise‑grade OpenShift platforms for our managed services clients. You will ensure platform availability, security, scalability, and performance while collaborating with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain production OpenShift clusters.
• Perform lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Monitor cluster health, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Manage container networking, persistent storage, ingress, and platform integrations.
• Automate operational tasks with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
• Support CI/CD integration, platform automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives.
• Implement security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance best practices.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity solutions.
• Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and platform optimization.
• Evaluate new OpenShift capabilities, tools, and enhancements.
• Develop technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, EX280, EX380, CKA, CKAD).
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Hands‑on experience administering production OpenShift clusters.
