Senior Construction Manager

About the role

The Senior Construction Manager (Quality) will lead on‑site activities for high‑end infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role combines strong leadership, technical expertise, and close coordination with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage construction activities for ultra‑luxury hospitality and residential projects.
• Supervise site operations, monitor schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Resolve technical and operational issues on‑site and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Review and approve construction drawings, specifications and work plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Oversee cost control, resource allocation and risk management.
• Implement corrective measures for delays, defects or non‑compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 20‑25 years of proven experience managing high‑end infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, industry standards and quality control.
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
