Senior Consultant – Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Al Khobar. The role supports public‑ and private‑sector clients with accounting projects, helping them navigate new IFRS and IPSAS standards, regulatory changes and complex transactions. You will work closely with managers, senior managers and partners to deliver high‑quality advisory services and strengthen clients’ finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions and regulatory changes on client financial statements.
• Provide advisory services to ensure compliance with IFRS and IPSAS, including preparation and review of financial statements.
• Guide clients on the adoption of new standards and help streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other EY locations and service lines, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain high‑quality work products, stay updated on industry trends and communicate key performance drivers to clients.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Professional experience in financial reporting, preferably with exposure to IFRS and IPSAS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior client personnel.
