Senior Contracting Specialist – Oil & Gas

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an experienced Senior Contracting Specialist to support its Oil & Gas operations in Saudi Arabia. You will manage complex contracts, ensure compliance with industry standards, and work closely with procurement and project teams throughout the contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Select appropriate services based on price, quality, and delivery, following company procedures.
• Manage the tender process, prepare documentation, distribute tenders, and communicate with bidders.
• Collaborate with requesting departments to evaluate commercial and technical proposals and lead bid selection meetings.
• Recommend contract awards that protect company interests and deliver best value.
• Prepare, conclude, and maintain contractual procurement in line with policies.
• Process RFQs, service purchase orders, bid evaluations, and release orders.
• Perform contractor cost estimations as required by end users.
• Monitor contract and service buying activities against budget, schedule, and KPIs, providing corrective actions when needed.
• Identify saving opportunities and guide contract advisors and customers.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations and uphold high business ethics.

Required profile

• Preferably a Finance or Business Administration degree; Engineering or Law degrees are also acceptable.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Minimum 9 years of contracting experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
