Senior Cyber Solution Architect – Telecom

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Senior Cyber Solution Architect to lead security design for telecom environments. You will work on large‑scale programmes shaping 5G core, mission‑critical communications, non‑terrestrial networks and Industrial IoT. The role combines architecture, risk assessment and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end security architectures for Cloud and Telecom domains, covering SIM/eSIM, RAN, Transport, EPC, 5G Core, IMS, MCx, OSS and BSS.
• Develop security frameworks aligned with standards such as 3GPP, GSMA, ETSI, NIST and ISO 27001, applying Zero Trust and Defense‑in‑Depth principles.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling across complex telecom environments and provide technical guidance to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Assess, recommend and validate security technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, PKI, HSM, PAM, EDR, SIEM, SOAR) against defined requirements.
• Create and maintain high‑quality architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, diagrams and training materials.
• Engage directly with customers and senior executives in workshops and presentations as a trusted security authority.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years focused on telecom (4G/5G, RAN, transport, cloud/virtualisation).
• Deep knowledge of security standards and compliance frameworks (GSMA, ENISA, TS33.x, ETSI, NIST).
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ISSAP, CISSP or CCSP and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or Telecommunications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; French is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites.
