Senior Data Analyst & Visualizer

About the role

We are transforming how data drives decision‑making across our business. As a Senior Data Analyst & Visualizer you will own the analytics layer, semantic models and reporting architecture, bridging technical execution with business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the conformed semantic model, certify business data definitions and enforce row‑level security.
• Design, build and maintain high‑impact Power BI dashboards and embed analytics directly into web applications (e.g., React).
• Integrate data from estimation, commercial, planning, design and operations to provide unified business insights.
• Establish data‑quality scorecards and work with data stewards to resolve issues.
• Create and deliver a tiered data‑literacy program for executives, managers and power users, including training and coaching.
• Run requirements workshops with department heads and collaborate closely with data engineers and developers.
• Measure solution adoption and continuously optimise based on user feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus) with 10+ years of experience in data analysis, semantic modelling and visualization.
• Domain experience in construction, contracting or project‑based industries, familiar with cost codes and tender‑to‑award cycles.

Required skills

• Microsoft Fabric (data storage/analysis) and Power BI (semantic modelling, Direct Lake, deployment pipelines, RLS).
• Proficiency in SQL, DAX, Power Query and Excel.
• Experience embedding analytics in web front‑ends using React.
• Version control with Git and use of AI tools to accelerate DAX/SQL generation.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle Primavera Cloud (desirable).
