Senior Design Engineer – Water & Irrigation Networks

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Design Engineer specialized in water and irrigation networks to lead the design of primary and secondary pressurised water systems for large‑scale infrastructure projects. You will serve as the technical focal point for the design team, ensuring robust, cost‑effective solutions that meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan primary and secondary pressurised water and irrigation networks.
• Act as the main point of contact for technical issues related to water/irrigation systems.
• Compute water demands and develop efficient network layouts.
• Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Review deliverables, including design submissions and specifications, to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide support for other engineering activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure mega‑project design, specifically irrigation network design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience advising clients on optimal systems, materials, products, and sustainable approaches for irrigation projects.
