Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Adree is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive product development and platform automation initiatives. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that enables efficient, automated software delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather platform requirements and define digital transformation goals.
• Design and present CI/CD capabilities, including agent‑pool management, environment provisioning and enterprise pipeline design.
• Create reusable Azure DevOps Server pipeline templates and secure shared libraries for product and engineering teams.
• Enforce complex branching strategies, optimise build‑runner performance and maintain Linux‑based runner systems.
• Collaborate with Security and QA to manage third‑party libraries, integrate Fortify SCA and embed automated testing frameworks.
• Lead internal and client workshops on GitOps delivery using Argo CD to OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
• Integrate monitoring hooks (AppDynamics, BMC, Azure Monitoring) and drive production deployment patterns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 6‑10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Build & Release automation in enterprise environments.
• Proven hands‑on production delivery experience, preferably in government, heavily regulated or complex enterprise sectors.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline engineering and secure pipeline patterns (Azure DevOps Server).
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform; configuration management: Ansible.
• Linux administration and scripting.
• Artifact management: JFrog Artifactory, binary and third‑party library handling.
• Security tooling: Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault, Sigstore, SecurEnvoy, MFA verification setups.
• GitOps tools: Argo CD, OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Monitoring integrations: AppDynamics, BMC, Azure Monitoring.
