Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers Staq’s Banking-as-a-Service platform. This role focuses on stability, security and seamless deployments across all environments while collaborating closely with the technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or OCI using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Bash/Groovy, Docker, GitHub and Helm.
• Configure and support Kubernetes clusters to ensure performance, availability and scalability.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting and tracing using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Thanos, Elasticsearch and Jaeger.
• Automate application deployments for Node.js, Java and other services.
• Improve security, reliability and operational workflows across environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with strong Linux administration.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, Load Balancers, RDS) or OCI.
• Proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and Infrastructure‑as‑Code workflows.
• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
