Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Oivan is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build and operate secure, enterprise‑scale platforms for its government and large‑enterprise clients. This client‑facing, hands‑on role is based in Riyadh and involves working across CI/CD, cloud, containers and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, embedding security scanning and automated testing.
• Architect, deploy and manage hybrid cloud environments on GCP, Oracle Cloud or Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Operate container platforms on Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher and OpenStack.
• Deploy and maintain high‑availability PostgreSQL and Redis (Sentinel) clusters.
• Implement Consul for service discovery and configuration management.
• Design and test disaster‑recovery solutions, including data replication and failover.
• Lead discovery, assessment and migration of existing CI/CD and infrastructure environments to new GitLab platforms.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Platform Engineering experience, preferably in on‑premise enterprise settings.
• Proven ability to work independently in a client‑facing, on‑site role.
• Strong cloud administration experience with at least one of GCP, Oracle Cloud or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
