Senior Document Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Document Controller to manage, organize, and maintain project documentation and records across energy efficiency, sustainability, construction, and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures documents are accurately captured, reviewed, tracked, distributed, and archived throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and PMO teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, distribution, filing, tracking, and archiving of project documents such as drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date document registers, ensure correct numbering, version control, and compliance with project procedures.
• Coordinate transmittals between internal teams, contractors, and consultants and monitor document status, revisions, and approvals.
• Prepare document status reports and support project close‑out, handover, and as‑built documentation.
• Administer electronic document management systems, controlling access, permissions, and records security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Management or a related field.
• 3+ years of document control experience (candidates with 10+ years are also welcome).
• Professional experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational, communication and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
