Senior Duty Manager – Luxury Hotel Operations

About the role

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking an experienced Senior Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations at its luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will be the senior management representative on duty, ensuring seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction during your assigned shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments.
• Lead, motivate and manage the duty management team while coordinating with department heads.
• Handle guest relations, resolve complaints, and personalize experiences to uphold Raffles standards.
• Manage crisis situations and emergency procedures with decisive action.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and security regulations throughout the property.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
• Manage shift schedules, staffing levels and collaborate with HR for adequate coverage.
• Oversee financial transactions, cash handling and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures across all departments.
• Communicate operational issues, guest feedback and performance metrics to senior management.
• Train, coach and develop team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hotel operations or duty management experience in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations systems, property management software and hospitality technology platforms.
• Excellent crisis management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of health, safety and security compliance requirements.
