Senior Engineer - Transportation

About the role

Join AECOM as a Senior Engineer – Transportation and lead the design and delivery of complex transportation projects. You will work independently on engineering deliverables from concept through completion, applying proven design methodologies and project management controls.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, testing, and produce design documentation.
• Develop innovative engineering approaches by adapting standard procedures.
• Manage project elements to meet budget, schedule, and PMC requirements with minimal supervision.
• Conduct primary design tasks, including design reviews and documentation.
• Apply project management controls to track progress and ensure quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry‑level engineers.
• Maintain design documentation and project records in compliance with PMC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in transportation engineering, design, or project management.
• At least 5 years of direct work experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Demonstrated expertise in transportation engineering design methodology and standards.
• Proven proficiency with project management controls (PMC).
