Senior Engineer - Utilities (Mechanical)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and implementation of utility systems across large‑scale infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. You will apply your expertise in mechanical utilities to ensure reliable, code‑compliant solutions that support our clients' critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed design calculations, specifications, and engineering reports for mechanical utility systems.
• Ensure all designs meet applicable mechanical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project management teams to optimise system performance and reliability.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor entry‑level engineers on technical concepts, best practices, and documentation standards.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for assigned design elements with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience (approximately 120 months) in mechanical utility systems design and engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex design tasks and deliver results on schedule.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
