Senior Financial Controller & Contract Specialist (1‑Year Extendable)

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to lead financial control and contract management functions on a one‑year extendable basis. The ideal candidate comes from a Big 4 audit background, has transitioned into financial controlling, and can safeguard contractual financial risks while ensuring robust governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial control activities, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies and IFRS.
• Oversee financial reporting accuracy, cost control, budget monitoring and internal‑control strengthening.
• Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies and support audit‑readiness initiatives.
• Review and manage contracts, focusing on financial terms, risk exposure and alignment with company policies.
• Provide financial input during contract negotiations and amendments, and monitor contract performance and obligations.
• Collaborate closely with legal, commercial and audit teams to ensure governance and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control, audit or related fields.
• Mandatory Big 4 experience (audit or financial advisory).
• Strong background in internal controls, financial controlling and audit processes.
• Proven experience reviewing contracts from a financial perspective.
• Arabic speaker (mandatory) with excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
